  1. Such an amazing marathon weekend... Everything was absolutely perfect! From the t-shirts, to the pasta dinner, the markings on the course to keep us on track, the amazing volunteers, my trophy, the after party, and I could just keep going on. I stayed at Bahia hostel and they were so accommodating.... I also got some great prizes at the raffle- an awesome fanny pack and a polo from a boutique. And my prize dinner at Cafe Cafe was delicious! I shared the two plates with everyone else and they agreed it was the best chifa we'd had in Peru."

  2. "It was great to feel so welcomed by the parade, and to see probably most of the people from the small towns that we ran through come out to give us high fives and encouragement as we ran through their towns. The race was one of the most scenic races I have participated in, for an excellent price that included just as many ammenities as any organized race in the United States
(many fruit/powerade/water/snack stations spread out through the entirity of the race, great markings directing the runners, bathrooms, emergency
assistance available, the T-shirt and goody bags, the pre-race pasta dinner, the list goes on). It was such a fantastic experience, and there is no other place I would have rather run my first marathon."
